Although I haven’t sent out a newsletter yet, I am very confident that I could put one together in short order based on the notes I took during the course and the projects that I developed as a part of the course. I am not exaggerating when I say I was amazed at the skills I learned from this course. I knew I would not be able to figure out everything I needed to create a newsletter so I purchased the Affinity Publisher for Beginners from Affinity Revolution course. And, that at some point I would send out a small newsletter. The series of projects in the e-books provided me with new experiences and broadened my knowledge of the products. In those instances where it has been awhile since I have had to use a particular tool or adjustment, I can refer back to these books and refresh my memory. During post processing there are tools a person may use frequently and some which will be used infrequently. Both books provided short projects which taught me how to integrate the individual tools and functions in a manner which gave me a much better insight into how I could improve my post processing efforts. I found the e-books to really tie together what I was learning from the Serif videos. The e-books Affinity Photo for Beginners and Affinity Photo iPad for Beginners I have found to be both as great learning tools and as a reference resource for Affinity Photo and Affinity Photo iPad. Additionally, I have purchased their new course Retouching 301 and will start working on that course in the coming week. I have also taken Affinity Revolution courses Affinity Publisher for Beginners, Retouching 101, Retouching 201, and a couple of the courses they offer for free. I have purchased their e-books Affinity Photo for Beginners and Affinity Photo iPad for Beginners. I have been a regular follower of Affinity Revolution on their YouTube channel for several years. In this post I am concentrating on the videos and e-books of Affinity Revolution.

I have been a user of Affinity Photo for Windows since December 2016 and the two sources that I have heavily relied on for learning are the training videos created by Serif (the company that created Affinity Photo) and Affinity Revolution. My Experience with Affinity Revolution e-Books I am writing this post because I strongly believe it will benefit users of Affinity Photo, Designer or Publisher. My comments in this post, as in all my posts, are mine alone and express my personal experience and opinions.
I have no business relationship with and have received no favor or compensation from Affinity Revolution. When I need training on Affinity Photo, Designer, or Publisher my go to company for training is Affinity Revolution.
